These terms are the agreement between you and anas akkari for the use of the MaybeSitter app and the website at maybesitter.com. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them.

MaybeSitter is operated by anas akkari, an individual developer. You can reach us at support@maybesitter.com.
What MaybeSitter is
MaybeSitter is a personal organizer. It helps you remember commitments you made and reminds you about them.
It is not medical, legal, financial or safety advice, and it is not an emergency service. Do not rely on MaybeSitter for anything where a missed or late reminder could harm someone — medication schedules, medical appointments, legal deadlines or the care of a person who depends on you. Reminders can be delayed or fail for reasons outside our control, such as a device being off, a permission being revoked, or a network outage.
AI suggestions can be wrong
When AI features are enabled and you consent, MaybeSitter uses AI models to read what you captured, propose a commitment and suggest a time. These models make mistakes. They can misread a date, invent a detail or misunderstand what you meant.
MaybeSitter asks you to confirm before a proposed commitment is accepted or written to your calendar. Draft capture proposals are stored temporarily while you review them. You are responsible for checking a suggestion before you accept it. Once you confirm it, it is your commitment, not our suggestion.
Your account
You need an account to use MaybeSitter, you must be 18 or older, and the information you give when signing up must be accurate. You are responsible for keeping access to your account secure, and for everything done through it.
Tell us at support@maybesitter.com if you think someone else has access to your account.
Acceptable use
When using MaybeSitter, you agree not to:
- Break the law, or use the service to help someone else break it.
- Upload or store content that infringes someone else's rights.
- Try to gain unauthorized access to the service, another person's account, or the systems behind them.
- Interfere with the service — overload it, scrape it at scale, circumvent rate limits, or probe it for vulnerabilities without permission.
- Reverse engineer the app except where the law expressly allows it.
- Resell or redistribute the service as your own.
If you find a security problem, please report it to support@maybesitter.com rather than exploiting it.
Termination
You can stop using MaybeSitter and delete your account at any time, in the app or at
maybesitter.com/en/delete-account.
We may suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms, that puts the service or other users at risk, or where we are required to by law. Except where a serious breach or a legal obligation makes it impossible, we will tell you first and give you a chance to export your data. We may also discontinue the service entirely, with reasonable advance notice.
Service provided "as is"
MaybeSitter is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranty of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, timely, secure or error-free, or that any reminder will be delivered at a particular moment. This does not exclude any warranty that cannot be excluded under applicable law.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, nor for lost profits, lost data, or any loss arising from a missed, late or incorrect reminder.
Our total liability for any claim relating to the service is limited to the greater of the amount you paid us for the service in the 12 months before the claim, or 100 ILS. Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for willful misconduct, or for anything else that cannot be limited under Israeli law.
Privacy
Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and why. It is part of these terms.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. For a material change, we update the version number and effective date on this website and, before the change takes effect, email affected users at the address linked to their account when we have a valid address for contacting them. We do not currently promise an in-app notice. If you keep using MaybeSitter after the change takes effect, you accept the new terms. If you do not agree, delete your account.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Israel, without regard to conflict of law rules. The competent courts of Tel Aviv-Yafo have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute, except that if you are a consumer, you keep any right you have to bring proceedings in the courts of your place of residence under the mandatory law that applies to you.
